Usage guide for Kosmos account registration
To register for a Kosmos account, follow the steps below. This information ensures that all required details are correctly filled out before submitting your Knox Approval or Jira Request (depending on your customer type).
Access the Kosmos portal Visit Kosmos Console . Ensure you are connected to the Samsung internal network (VPN may be required for other users).
Knox ID and Corp AD requirements
- Knox ID is a unified platform for identity, access and devices used by SAMSUNG internally.
- All users must have a valid associated KnoxID and an assigned Corp AD.
- Your CorpAD will serve as your login credential for the account.

Reources are not pre-allocated
- The reouces like Fleets and Devspaces are not pre-assigned to the user account and user have to request the resoucess based on your use case. To request Fleet and DevSpaces access, please visit Tenant Management page
- Team members are also not preassigned to the account. You will need to provide the list of all the users to the Kosmos team so that they can assinged other team members to your Fleets and DevSpaces. To request team members addition to your assigned Fleet and DevSpaces, please visit User management page
Check your eligibility for Fleet and Devspaces
- For external users, a valid Knox approval must be submitted and approved.
- For internal users, a Jira request is required.
Complete required sections in your approval request Include the following information in your Knox or Jira request body:
- Project name and code: The desired name of your project.
- Project purpose/scenario: Describe the use case (e.g., analytics, testing, or production use case).
- Team and group: Specify the team that owns or manages the project.
- CCTR: Provide your Cost Center Code.
- Target service open date: For test environments, mention “Test Only.”
Consent to personal information collection Review and confirm consent for personal data usage as defined under the Kosmos privacy policy. Without this consent, account registration cannot be completed.
Submit your request for review Once all fields are filled in, submit your Knox or Jira request for Kosmos operator review. You will receive confirmation via email once your account is provisioned.
